The storms effects will be felt as early as noon tomorrow for the region. Even so, the storm has yet to form and there are still some variables to figure out. Overall, it looks like the majority of the impacts will be along and east of the I - 95 corridor.
UPDATED SNOWFALL MAP

WHAT?
The storm has two parts. The first part is a blanket of light snow moving from the north into the region around noon tomorrow. This will continue and advance south until the brunt of the storm arrives. This main part of the storm, part two, will likely only affect areas east of the I - 95 corridor. There will be a sharp cut off along this line. The storm will strengthen and should dump snow across eastern Maryland
WHEN
Light snow or part one will begin around noon on Friday. This will last until midnight when the storm strengthens and consolidates its energy towards the coast. This is the main event; heavy snow will come down for areas along and east of the bay exiting around noon on Saturday.
IMPACTS
Areas west of the I - 95 Corridor - I expect little to no impacts on travel. Temperatures will be marginal during the day tomorrow and stickage will be limited. Between sunset and midnight on Friday will be the time that roads could get snow covered if intensity persists. With temperatures in the teens Saturday morning and winds up to 40 mph, I expect an occasional downed tree or power line.
Areas east of the I - 95 Corridor - I expect moderate to severe impacts on travel. Heavier snow will build in around sunset and overspread the area. Roads will become snow covered and visibility will worsen as the winds will be gusting over 40 mph throughout the night and following morning. With frigid temperatures, a lot of snow and impressive wind gusts, travel will be tough all of Saturday.
